We are interested in getting another one, maybe a female. I have been looking for breeders in our area, no luck. We got ours out of Rochester, N.Y. The breeder we got our boys from is getting to old, and doesn't know if she will be doing it anymore. She has been breeding Mals since the 1950's !!!! Love your site and the dogs are great to say the least

Date: Wednesday November 27, 2002 CommentsMy name is Drew. I have a mixed breed male mal/wolf. His name is Kodiak. I've had him for four years since he was weened at 7 wks. He's a complete clown and a joy to have. I took pictures of him monthly from the day of his birth for a scrap book. Just to see the growth and the changes. What a sight to see him with his first experience in the snow when I first brought him home. I recently divorced and oh what a great companion. Looking at this web site makes me want to get a companion for Kodi. I'm in complete awe of the beauty of this breed. All the wonderful pictures and useful information to all who have interest in the Alaskan Malamute.

CommentsI have been very impressed with your malamutes. They are truly exceptional. We had our malamute Moushak for 11 years, and lost her recently to osteosarcoma. There will come a time when we open our hearts again to the joys and challenges of owning one of the these wonderful creatures and it is in that vein that I am writing to inquire about upcoming litters. We are going to foster a malamute from the Rescue league in the interim for a period of time to help out, and in honour of our dog - it seems like a fitting and special thing to do. If you could, at your conventience, let us know what will be happening in your breedings, perhaps we could be considered at some point in the future. We would of course complete your application forms and undergo whatever review you might require to assure you of our responsible nature as owners, and our comittment to these amazing animals. We live in Edmonton and will be designing a home on an acre of ocean front property in Sechelt over the next couple of years. We will of course want to ensure that we have the proper "accomodations" for another "mutie" in the future - we spent a number of years perfecting our current accomodations and know they would pass approval. We have also earned our stripes as responsible and loving owners. Once again, it was a pleasure to visit your website and review some of the amazing dogs you have and have had over the years.
