Doris came to us as a puppy from Poker Flat kennels (Robin Haggard & Jim Kuehl) in Illinois, USA. She is a Teslin grand-daughter and has that
Poker Flat loving nature & willingness to please as well as the effortless, sound movement that Poker Flat dogs are renowned for. She has lots to offer our kennels, including soundly
constructed front and rear, excellent pigment and good coat.
She is an American and Canadian champion and won 1st place in the
American Bred class at the 2001 AMCA National Specialty under renowned judge Jean Fournier.
Doris was bred to Benny (BISS BIS AM/CAN CH Williwaw's River Dance)
in August of 2002 - a gorgeous, typy, friendly boy who has won more than 8 BIS awards in Canada and won both the AMCA National Specialty and AMCA Top Twenty Event in 2002 - and they produced one male puppy
(Sisu), born on November 1st. In 2004 we bred Doris to a very nice male in Ontario (Salty) and she had 5 very
healthy pups which can be seen on our Puppies 2004 page. Doris is truly a great Mom and always a pleasure to have
around.
