Sometimes we will have a dog or older puppy that is looking for a good home. These dogs are either ones we are fostering for the HELP League, those we have "run-on" to see
how they develop before deciding that they are not what we are looking for in our breeding program, or ones that we need to find
a very special home for and have not found the right one yet. We always take back any dogs we have bred for any reason, including changes in living conditions of the previous owners or an
inability to keep the dog due to a move or other reasons. This is a rare occurrence but when it happens we do need to find secure and loving homes for these dogs. An older dog may suit
someone who is looking to avoid the huge investment of time and intense care needed to raise a young puppy although even an older dog still needs love, exercise and mental stimulation to
keep them healthy and happy.
The dogs listed below are socialized with children and other dogs, but please read carefully the descriptions of the dogs available to see their plus and MINUS points. We are
always available to help with any problems that may come up following adoption and would prefer to see these dogs homed reasonably close-by, so we can be available to help in more practical
ways if the need arises. Previous experience with the unique characteristics (and charms) of Malamutes or Malamute mixes would be helpful, although this is by no means an absolute
requirement.
Please consider giving a home to a Rescue dog such as those helped by the Alaskan Malamute HELP League who do a wonderful job of helping people
keep their dogs, as well as finding new homes for those older dogs unfortunate enough to be in need of a new loving home. To see other deserving
