April 7th & 8th

Wayne won Winner's Dog, Best of Winners and Best Puppy for 4 points on Saturday and Saxon went Reserve Winner's Dog.

On Sunday, Saxon won Reserve Winner's Dog again and Best Puppy.

Club Canin Rive-Sud de Montreal

April 28th & 29th

Star won Winner's Female, Best of Winners, Best Opposite Sex and Best Puppy on Sunday for 5 points - wow, what a win for our puppy girl! Thank you, Bud Haverstock, for thinking so highly of her.
Friends of the Canadian Guide Dogs

May 5th & 6th

Star won her last points, from the puppy class, to become a Canadian Champion and went Best of Winners, Best of Opposite Sex and Best Puppy both days!

May 12th & 13th

Star won Best of Breed both days, and the first time out as a special (Saturday) she went on to win a Group 4th under Janet Buchanan. She's our Star, and thank you so much to Janet Buchanan - we can't thank you enough!!

Wayne won Winner's Dog, and Best Opposite Sex both days while Best of Winners was shared between him & Doris over the weekend.

Hochelaga Kennel Club

 May 19th to 21st

Star won Best Opposite Sex on Sunday and then went one better on Monday winning Best of Breed over a decent entry of 16 Malamutes under Bettie Krause, Thank you, Mrs. Krause!

Wayne won 3 points going Winners Dog on Monday too, to complete his Canadian Championship in good style - "that's our boy".

The Ottawa Kennel Club

May 26th & 27th

Doris won Winners Female and Best of Winners for 2 points on Saturday to become a Canadian Champion, while Star won Best of Breed and Wayne won Best of Opposite Sex.

On Sunday, Siru (Samaljankan Bay's Bit Bijou), our red girl, won Best of Breed and 3 points from the open class and Wayne won Best Opposite Sex. Thank you, Allan Brown, for being able to see past the "unusual" colour to the great dog underneath!

The Chateauguay Valley Kennel Club

June 30th, July 1st & 2nd

Star won Best Opposite Sex the first two days and Best of Breed on the Monday while Wayne won Best of Breed on Sunday.

Saxon won Winner's Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed on Saturday for 3 points.

The Ottawa Kennel Club

November 16th to 18th

Star won Best Opposite Sex all three days.
United Kennel Club

November 23rd to 25th

Star won Best Opposite Sex on Sunday under James White.

2001: USA (This year we got a bit more adventurous and had a blast "down South" on our 3 trips!)

Champlain Valley Kennel Club

July 14th

Doris won Winners Female, Best of Winners  and Best of Opposite Sex, while Wayne won Winners Male. Both won their first AKC points at this show.
Green Mountain Dog Club

 July 15th

Wayne did us proud here with Winners Male, Best of Winners and Best of Breed! Star got the points for the girls winning Winners Female and Best Opposite Sex.
Palisades Kennel Club & AMCA NY/NJ Regional Specialty

 October 13th

In the Sweeps, judged by well-known East Coast breeder-judge Paul Levesque (Greenbrier), our two youngsters won their classes (12-18 months) and Wayne was awarded Best Graduate in Sweepstakes. Star also won her class in the regular classes (12 - 18 months).
Ramapo Kennel Club & AMCA/Empire Malamute Club Specialty

October 14th

Star won her Sweeps class and Best Graduate in Sweepstakes and also won her regular class (both 12-18 months).
AMCA Midwest Area Specialty

October 30th

Wayne was awarded a 4th place in the Senior Graduate Sweepstakes class (15 - 18 months) by West Coast breeder-judge Sally Vogel (Alkai).
AMCA National Specialty

November 2nd & 3rd

Wayne hit it big with a 1st place in a highly competitive 12 - 18 month class under renowned East Coast breeder-judge Wendy Willhawk (Frostfield). Wow, what a thrill! Thank you, Wendy, for appreciating his finer points.
